Ange Postecoglou in priceless Celtic reaction as Cameron Carter-Vickers gets in on the act after wayward pass

Ange Postecoglou makes no secret that he likes to keep standards high at Celtic as they chase their second league title in a row.

The Parkhead manager famously told his players 'we never stop' as he relentlessly looks to improve the quality of football and the energy levels his team plays with. Celtic were a goal down at half-time against St Mirren in the Premiership clash in Paisley today and the Australian looked for a reaction from his squad in the second period. They did and ran out 5-1 winners after Charles Dunne was shown a straight red at the end of the first-half for a challenge on Kyogo Furuhashi.

Goals from Jota and Alistair Johnston turned the game on its head and substitutes Liel Abada, Matt O'Riley and Oh Hyeon-gyu all scored as Celtic restored their nine-point lead over Rangers at the top of the league. There were tense moments for Postecoglou, especially in the first-half, but it was a misplaced pass by Cameron Carter-Vickers that brought a smile to the manager's face.

As the game petered out the centre-back attempted to play a goal forward but instead of finding a Celtic player he put it straight out for a St Mirren goal kick.

Sky Sports commentator, James McFadden said: "That's a collectors item." Postecoglou is then seen mouthing, "Cam" and then smiling at the American defender for the pass before his head lands in his hands. McFadden adds: "That's Ange Postecoglou asking Cameron Carter-Vickers, what was that?"
