Andy Carroll starts as Valerien Ismael makes two West Brom changes
West Bromwich Albion boss Valerien Ismael has named Andy Carroll and Matt Clarke in his starting XI for the trip to Millwall this afternoon.
Carroll, who only completed his short-term move on Friday, starts ahead of Grady Diangana in the front three, and he drops to the bench. Matt Phillips, who played up top in the defeat to Preston in the week, shifts out to the right-hand side.
Clarke returns to the starting line-up, too, ahead of Adam Reach. Conor Townsend, like Phillips, retains his place but reverts to his more natural position at wing-back.
Cedric Kipre keeps his place in the back three despite being taken off at half-time on Wednesday.
Millwall, who have lost five of their last six matches in all competitions, hand a debut to former Albion winger Oli Burke, who has joined on loan from Sheffield United for the remainder of the season.
Former Wolves striker Benik Afobe leads the line, and ex-Blues midfielder Maikel Kieftenbeld takes up his place in the centre of the pitch.
