Andre Onana vs Alisson and Ederson - how Man United transfer target compares to league's best

Erik ten Hag will be well aware of the transformative effect Andre Onana could have at Manchester United.

It looks increasingly likely that Ten Hag will be reunited with his first-choice target. Onana and the Dutchman worked together at Ajax before departing the Netherlands' capital for new ventures.

Onana seems an obvious fit for Ten Hag and can have a transformative impact at United, much in the way Ederson and Alisson have at United's biggest rivals. The two Brazilians were game-changers for Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp. Ten Hag will hope Onana can do the same.

Defensively, United were solid last year but it's in build-up where the greater issues lay with De Gea. He also failed to deliver in big moments, such as the FA Cup final where Ilkay Gundogan's winner trickled past him.
