Andre Onana Manchester United transfer latest as Inter Milan future plan emerges

Andre Onana could be Manchester United's next signing this summer as Erik ten Hag seeks to strengthen his squad prior to next season.

United have already signed Mason Mount from Chelsea as their first acquisition ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. A deal of an initial £55m was agreed with the Stamford Bridge club, with an extra £5m in add-ons.

Among the next priorities for United now is to sign a goalkeeper. It follows David de Gea's departure from Old Trafford after 12 years at the club.

Onana has been strongly linked with a move to United this summer from Inter Milan as the prime target for Ten Hag in the goalkeeping position. With that in mind, here's the latest gossip surrounding the potential move and when it could be down .

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Onana is expected to be a United player within the next 72 hours.

The report states that the fee United will pay will initially be €50m, with add-ons. A deal has been agreed in principle and the move could be finalised between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport reports that Inter intend to sign four players with the money received from United for Onana's services.

Chief among those will be to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the San Siro on a permanent basis from Chelsea after his loan spell last season. He is one of four signings the Italian side wish to make.
