Amazon's best-selling vacuum described as a 'more reasonable Dyson' slashed to under £70

Spring might be a couple of months away yet, but it's never too early to start getting to grips with a deep clean routine. For those eyeing up a new vacuum cleaner to kickstart their motivation, one of Amazon's best selling products has just received a significant discount, taking the price down from £99.99 to £69.99.

Although fans of the Akitas V8 Cordless Stick Vacuum warn not to expect the same sort of suction power a Dyson can offer, they do say, given the price, it's a 'more reasonable' price for the performance you are getting. Of course, with it being cordless, you get the added benefit of not being tied down by a pesky wire, which removes that added barrier of picking it up to clean in the first place.

As the name describes, this is a 3-in-1 product, with the included attachments making the vacuum more usable for reaching high spots, clearing the carpet, or even cleaning up the car. The 150W rechargeable battery contributes to a reasonably long runtime, too, with one customer saying they're able to clean their home three times before needing to recharge.

"The charge is easy to do and lasts for a week," writes one reviewer on Amazon. Another concurs, saying: "The battery life is adequate for my 2 bed house."

Customers also mention that they find this vacuum great for picking up pet hair, a key focus of Akitas' blurb on the Amazon product page. "Great [vacuum]. Gathers all pet hairs instantly," writes one customer.

However, they do also go on to explain that maintenance is key with this particular product, and you'll need to make sure you're cleaning it out regularly to keep it functioning properly. "Only fault pet hairs get stuck in the bottom attachment of the [vacuum] and have to be manually taken out,"
