Amazon Prime presenter praised for outstanding interview ahead of Man City vs Real Madrid

Fans have been full of praise for Amazon Prime presenter Alex Aljoe after her brilliant bilingual interview ahead of Manchester City vs Real Madrid in the Champions League. The two sides were preparing to do battle at the Etihad Stadium ahead of the Champions League play-off game, a tie that has so often decided the finalists in the latter stages of the tournament.

City and Los Blancos have struggled in Europe so far this season, with injuries plaguing both squads. Nonetheless, that hasn't dampened the excitement heading into the tie and Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has an impressive record of scoring against City.

The Brazilian has scored four goals in seven appearances against Man City and was hoping to add to his tally ahead of the game, as revealed in a great interview with Aljoe.

Before the game the presenter quizzed Rodrygo what the mood was like in the Real Madrid camp heading into the game. "It's a really, really good atmosphere," she translated. "I love being here to play games like this. We know it's going to be a difficult game but we're hopeful Real Madrid can win it."

"What was the reaction line when you found out, once again, that it was going to be City?" she asked the Real Madrid forward.

The Brazilian responded: "It was actually not a surprise that it was Manchester City yet again, four times in the last five seasons. Now we hoped it will be a different opponent, it wasn't but we are feeling confident."
