'Amazing' law student, 19, killed in tragic six-storey fall from Ibiza hotel balcony

Tributes have been paid to a 'kind' and 'hardworking' law student who died after falling from a hotel balcony in Ibiza. Emma Ramsay was on holiday with friends at the Spanish island's party capital, San Antoino.

The 19-year-old plunged from the sixth floor of Hotel Vibra District, at around 3am on Tuesday (August 20). Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, the Daily Record reports.

Friends of the teenager are among those who have paid tribute to her. Paris Mcgoldrick wrote: "I don't even know where to begin with how perfect our Emma was.

Amy Craig said: "The most amazing girl sending all my love." Fallon Jamieson added: "Sending all my love to her family and friends. Such a beautiful girl."

Emma, from Hamilton, Lanarkshire, had been studying law at Strathclyde University. The young Scot shared pictures and video on social media as she partied with friends in the hours before the horror incident took place.

Tiktok clips showed her dancing in front of the camera before a night out at Hi Ibiza club. In other footage and images, she is shown celebrating with pals in an elevator before heading out on the town and posing opposite Cafe Mambo on a balcony at Cafe Del Mar.
