Corrie fans 'work out' Lauren moves in with unlikely resident - and it's not Dee-Dee

Coronation Street fans have ‘worked out’ who Lauren Bolton is moving in with - and it’s an unlikely resident.

This week, Joel Deering (played by Calum Lill) was finally exposed for his horrific crimes. Fans will recall, he rocked up to the cobbles as a nice guy last year. But the sicko solicitor has shown his true colours in recent months, as it was revealed he was behind the disappearance of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton).

Joel wormed his way into Lauren’s life after helping her out with bills, eventually coercing her into a sexual relationship. He then left he for dead after bashing her head in, following a heated argument where Lauren mentioned fiancee Dee-Dee Bailey’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) name.

As well as that, he fathered her newborn baby and recently tried to kill her, drugging her in a desperate attempt to kill the baby. His sickening plan didn't work though, as she went into labour early and the baby survived. And despite Joel thinking he had gotten away with his crimes, this week - the truth came out.

However, in a shock twist, Joel ended up going to the cops first, spinning a web of lies about Lauren. Joel ended up admitting he had a sexual relationship with the teen - but then lied and said that Lauren had got illegal abortion pills to try and get rid of the baby.

As a result, Lauren has vowed to head to Ireland - where she originally had planned to leave. However, during Wednesday's episode (August 21) Lauren and Roy Cropper (David Neilson) - who was originally sent to prison for her murder - shared a heart-to-heart.

Now, with nowhere for Lauren to go, fans reckon that she could actually be moving in with Roy. On a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person said: “Do we think Roy will take Lauren and baby in?”
