Altay Bayindir gives verdict on battle with Andre Onana ahead of his Manchester United debut
Altay Bayindir has admitted all the goalkeepers at Manchester United want to start, but that hasn't stopped him from working hard in training and supporting Andre Onana this season.
Bayindir joined from Fenerbahce in a €5million deal in the summer and he was brought to the club to deputise for Onana, who was signed in the same window from Inter Milan.
The 25-year-old was expected to feature in cup competitions, but Erik ten Hag continued to prefer Onana and he is still yet to be handed his debut for United.

Although Bayindir has been forced to wait for his first appearance, Onana is now at the Africa Cup of Nations and he should make his debut against Newport County in the FA Cup.
Many have suggested the handling of Bayindir has been unfair, but he appeared calm about the situation when sitting down for an interview with the club's in-house media.
“All the goalkeepers, their character is very nice. We are always positive. Of course, we are fighting [to be] on the pitch, because everyone wants to play with the team in the stadium," Bayindir said.
“But we have a good energy. It doesn’t matter who is playing, because we will, of course, support them every time.
“Team spirit is very important, you know? If we are doing this, we can be successful in the game, it’s very important. I think if we’re always doing that, we can always go up.
“We are fighting [to be the best] in the training and when we are going outside, we are best friends. We have a very good energy because, I already said this, it's very important. Team, spirit, soul. But everyone I think inside has a clear heart.
