Alisson Becker: Liverpool star saved Mason Mount's penalty twice in FA Cup final

Alisson Becker was one of Liverpool’s heroes in their FA Cup victory against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon.

The Brazilian was imperious in goal as he helped Liverpool keep a clean sheet in the opening 120 minutes.

He then saved Mason Mount’s effort in the penalty shootout, giving Kostas Tsimikas the opportunity to win the game.

Dietmar Hamman praised Alisson for stopping the ball going back into the goal.

“The way Allison Becker realised straight away that Mounts penalty had backspin on it showed what a class act he is. Would have gone in otherwise. Outstanding,” he wrote on Twitter.
