Alison Hammond hailed 'iconic' by fans as she says she's 'coolest mum' after being branded 'too hot' by This Morning star

Alison Hammond has been hailed as 'iconic' by her fans and followers as she shared why she's the 'coolest mum'. The This Morning star started her summer away from the ITV daytime show by heading to Stormzy's epic 30th birthday bash.

Alison was among the famous faces invited to celebrate the rapper's milestone birthday. After finishing up on This Morning until September, the 48-year-old headed to the '#MikeGala' on Friday (July 28) which was held in the ballroom of the Biltmore Mayfair hotel in West London.

Her invite to Stormzy's birthday bash, whose real name is Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, came after she recently featured in the video for his latest track, Toxic Traits, with Fredo.

Also among the famous in attendance were Loose Women stars Charlene White and Brenda Edwards, presenter Jonathan Ross, TV personality Big Zuu, actor Stephen Graham, YouTuber Tobi Brown, and rapper Bugzy Malone.

Taking to Instagram after the party, Alison revealed that she managed to bag her son a space as her plus one. Sharing a picture of them flanking the birthday boy as they all beamed for the camera, the mum-of-one typed to her followers: "Happy 30th birthday to this big man @stormzy."

She added: "Thanks for letting us share such a beautiful night of love and light, with family and friends. Aidan had the best time and I am now the coolest mum around. Stay blessed #themikegala." Carol Vorderman was among the first to respond, simply writing: "Iconic pic," with a red heart in the comments section.
