Alfredo Morelos in Santos rage as former Rangers star reaches boiling point during triple red card rammy

Alfredo Morelos' rage at an opposition player boiled over to the point of charging on to the pitch for Santos.

The fiery Colombian was never shy of letting his aggression out on the pitch, being involved in more than a few fracas during his time at Rangers in big games against Aberdeen and Celtic to name but a few. And while Morelos promised Santos fans he would bring passion and goals, being in the middle of a 28-man brawl probably wasn't on his agenda after leaving Rangers in May this year. Morelos watched from the sidelines as his side saw off Vasco de Gama in a powder-keg 4-1 win.

But one moment late on in which Santos teammate Yeferson Soteldomocked their rivals by taking the time to stand on the ball did not go down well with one Vasco defender, who lunged in with a boot which then caused a frenzy. The Santos subs bench all spilled off the sidelines and on to the pitch as tensions majorly flared up.

In a clip shared by on social media, right at the heart of the rammy is Morelos who leads the charge on to the field and exchanges more than a few words with the Vasco guilty party. The linesman is forced to put his hand across the 27-year-old to stop him from getting majorly involved.

There's plenty of pushing and shoving going on as the officials try to calm the two sets of players and subs down, with THREE players sent off in the aftermath, including two of Morelos' own team mates.
