AEW: Injury updates for major top stars

AEW, for a long time, has suffered, with many of its top stars receiving injuries. However, their roster could be getting back to full strength , with reports emerging that some of their top talents could be returning very soon.

With AEW’s next big show being confirmed at the start of September with All Out, Tony Khan will be wanting the strongest roster possible to make the event unmissable.

The three names predicted to return just in time for All Out is The Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson, the AEW World Champion CM Punk and the highly anticipated return of former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.

Omega has been out of action since last year’s AEW Full Gear, where he lost his championship to Hangman Adam Page, and since has had to have multiple surgeries and go through rehab to get back to full health.

Dave Meltzer at Wrestling Observer Radio stated: “Kenny Omega is hoping to be at All Out, but nothing is set in stone yet”.

Omega’s return would shake up the roster and be the piece of the puzzle Khan can use to create new storylines or even create dream matches with other top talents.

On the other hand, if CM Punk is fit to return after his foot injury suffered on the Dynamite after Double Or Nothing, then Khan can set up the dream match between Punk and Moxley to determine the Undisputed AEW World Champion.

Finally, Bryan Danielson is a name Khan wants back for All Out, especially after he was unable to compete against Zack Sabre Jr at Forbidden Door. His absence was a blessing in disguise, as Claudio Castagnoli had an unforgettable debut.

The coming months to All Out will be interesting where Khan takes the storylines and how the card will begin to take shape.
