AEW: Changes made to Trios Tournament semi-finals
Last night AEW Dynamite confirmed that there will be a participant change in the Trios Tournament semi-finals between Best Friends and Dark Order after the injury of Preston “10” Vance.
Vance injured his knee in the quarter-finals match against The House Of Black, making him medically unclear to compete.
A backstage segment on Dynamite saw Tony Schiavone interview Vance and Evil Uno. Uno confirmed that it will be him replacing his injured teammate and joining Alex Reynolds and Jon Silver this Friday on Rampage to take on Best Friends.
Before the segment finished, Uno and Vance were confronted by Jose and Andrade El Idolo.
Andrade expressed how he was a fan of Vance’s work and appearance and enquired about recruiting him. Uno interjected and expressed how Dark Order is for life, leading to him getting cracked multiple times with Vance’s crutch by Andrade.

The attack from Andrade created even more headlines for AEW as it was revealed later in the night that Evil Uno was unable to compete on Rampage.
Later in the night, there was another backstage segment involving the Dark Order, but this time it was with Silver and Reynolds, who had come to terms with the fact that they won’t have a partner for Friday.
That was until Hangman Adam Page emerged to express his interest to team with Silver and Reynolds on Friday. Reynolds and Silver accepted, making it Page, Silver and Reynold’s taking on Best Friends, Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta.
