Adam Thomas assures fans 'it's not my best' as he reacts to first Strictly Come Dancing performance

Adam Thomas has reflected on his first Strictly Come Dancing performance after the series much-loved show kicked off on Saturday night (September 16). 15 brand new famous faces took to the dancefloor for the very first time to mark the start of the 21 series of the popular BBC dance competition.

The launch show began with a dazzling dance from the professionals, followed by a second performance which featured both the pros and judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke in a Strictly first. The special routine was dedicated to dancer Amy Dowden, who sadly couldn't be with her fellow stars for the launch.

The 33-year-old, who joined Strictly as a professional back in 2017, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer earlier this year and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. The launch show also included a tribute to the late Len Goodman, who was the former head judge on Strictly and sadly died in April after battling bone cancer.

As the show came to a close once each of the pairings were announced, fans then got to see the Strictly stars in action for the first time as the celebrities took to the floor to perform a group number to give viewers a sneak peek at their skills.
