Adam Le Fondre reveals his Hibs injury like something from a CAR CRASH but vows he won't be left behind

Adam Le Fondre's season hit the skids when he was struck down with an injury doctors told him was more common in car crashes. Now he’s back after a four month repair job - and desperate to help get Hibs motoring on the road to Europe.

The veteran striker had never had a serious injury in his 20-year career until he broke down against Ross County in October. Only after tests did it turn out he’d been playing through the pain of a torn posterior cruciate ligament for two games.

"I had to wait until the end of my career to get a properly bad injury. Even when I got the news that I had the PCL tear, there was disbelief because I'd been playing with it for two games. It's the longest injury I've ever had in my career. It was three-and-a-half months. It was a really frustrating time for me because
