Aberdeen FC set for Ferguson and Ramadani multi-million windfall as sell-on figures revealed

Aberdeen are in line for a multi-million pound cash bonanza if their former stars Lewis Ferguson and Ylber Ramadani land big-money Serie A moves.

Scotland star and Bologna star Ferguson has linked with a €20 million move to long-term admirers Juventus again this week, while Inter are amongst the clubs who have been watching Leece’s Ramadani. The Dons have a 15 per cent sell-on Ferguson’s sale when they sold him in the summer of 2022 and they also have a 10 per cent slice of any future fee on Ramadani.

It remains to be seen if Bologna would see prize asset Ferguson in the January window. They recently handed him a new contract and made it clear he wasn’t for sale. Bologna also had interest in the summer at around the £12 million mark but didn’t want to sell. Albanian international Ramadani has also impressed in the Italian top-flight. He has been a revelation for Leece since he made the switch there last summer.

He had previously been at Pittodrie for a season after joining from MTK Budapest. They posted a profit through player sales this summer when they moved on Ramadani and Ross McCrorie to Bristol City.

Aberdeen have previously cash in on big money sales and add-ons through Scott McKenna’s move and promotion to the English Premier League.
