Aaron Ramsey to Cardiff City Live: Updates as sensational return to Bluebirds imminent

Cardiff City and Aaron Ramsey are on course for a sensational reunion in the Welsh capital.

Rumours and speculation have been bubbling away all summer - with a few hints dropped along the way - that the Wales skipper, who started his career with the Bluebirds, wanted to come home.

He said last month: "One day, I'd love to go back there, but who knows when that time might be. We'll see. They gave me an opportunity as a young boy and to go on and to become a professional. I'll be forever grateful for that and what they've done for me in my career.

"Maybe one day I'll go back and it'll mean a lot."

There have been a few twists and turns along the way, including interest from elsewhere, but with the 32-year-old having undergone a medical with Erol Bulut's side on Thursday, fans can perhaps begin to really believe their dreams are coming true.
