A4232 in Cardiff closed in both directions after 'serious' collision - latest updates
South Wales Police are attending an incident following a serious collision on the A4232 at Cardiff. Officers have reported the road is currently closed in both directions between Culverhouse Cross and Leckwith.
They added: "Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Delays are expected in the area."
The incident occurred shortly before midnight on Thursday but traffic disruption is expected into the early hours. It is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the incident, or when the road will be cleared and traffic returned to its normal patterns.

National roads information service Inrix reported at 12.42am today: "A4232 in both directions closed due to vehicle fire from A48 Cowbridge Road ( Culver House Cross ) to B4267 Leckwith Road ( Leckwith Interchange)."
