8 free agents who would fit perfectly into Bolton Wanderers’ squad

Although they were unable to force their way into the top six in the latter stages of the season, Bolton Wanderers can be satisfied with their work this season going into what could be an even more successful campaign next term.

Considering this was their first season back in the third tier, they coped extremely well with this challenge, adapting seamlessly thanks to manager Ian Evatt and some of their signings over the past couple of the windows.

These additions have gone a long way in levelling up their squad with Dapo Afolayan sealing a permanent move from West Ham United and Amadou Bakayoko arriving on a free transfer.

The latter has proved that the Trotters don’t have to spend a huge amount of money to bring in valuable assets, with the 26-year-old recording 10 goals and five assists in 32 league appearances this term.

And bearing this in mind, we have selected eight free agents who could fit into Wanderers’ squad and become vital players to their cause during the 2022/23 campaign and potentially beyond.
