Bristol City are finishing a disappointing Championship season with a flourish – highlighting that the future could well be bright in Bs3. 

Nigel Pearson’s side have taken 10 points from their last four games and put five past Hull City on the weekend.

They’re still set for a lower mid-table finish but heading into the summer with some momentum could be massive ahead given the work that needs to be done off the pitch.

Pearson will no doubt want to use the upcoming window to continue to shape his squad but has warned there isn’t likely to be much money to spend.

That won’t mean there’s no movement at all, however, and one big sale could provide the funds needed to strengthen significantly while it may be a case of the Robins having to be very smart with their money.
