Ralf Rangnick branded online trolls “idiots” for racially abusing Manchester United winger Anthony Elanga.
Elanga was subjected to the vile abuse after missing the decisive spot-kick in a penalty shoot-out against Middlesbrough that saw United exit the FA Cup.

Meta, the company which owns Instagram, said they had removed some of the offensive messages and have launched an investigation.
