'3D-printed guns' and ammunition seized in police raid with two arrested
Suspected 3D-printed guns and a quantity of ammunition was seized by a specialist police unit in a dawn raid in Greater Manchester, it's been revealed. Two people, a man and a woman, were arrested at the scene in Stalybridge, Tameside, in the swoop early on Thursday morning.
The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit said the arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into '3D-printed firearms production'.
Both the man, 32, and woman, 29, were held on suspicion of firearms officers after the swoop on their home, the unit said. Both were taken to a police station for questioning. In an update today - Friday - police said they have been released on bail with conditions.

Images of the guns seized have been revealed by the unit. Police said a number of suspected 3D-printed firearms were seized, together with ammunition and 'other associated equipment'.
The North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (NWROCU) provides specialist capabilities to tackle serious and organised crime that crosses borders in the region.
Established in 2009, the unit is a collaboration between the six North West police forces of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and North Wales. It's made up of officers and staff from across the region who offer specialist skills and additional resources.
