2 Sheffield United players to watch out for next season

Battling away to secure promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs, Sheffield United face Nottingham Forest. 

The winner of that tie, across the two legs, will face either Huddersfield Town or Luton Town, with the Blades bringing some excellent form into these fixtures. 

Eventually finishing fifth, Paul Heckingbottom has seen immediate success at the Yorkshire club since his November appointment. 

Whilst we wait and see how the Blades fare up in these play-off matches, we take look at two Sheffield United players to keep an eye out for next season…

Iliman Ndiaye 

Iliman Nidaye has accumulated nearly 2000 minutes of Championship action this season, and whilst featuring fairly regularly this season, it would be no surprise if he sees even more game time the next. 

Showing plenty of ability, and possessing an incredibly high ceiling, the exciting attacking midfielder has been a real source of optimism for the Blades. 

Primarily operating in attacking midfield, he has also been deployed as a winger and as a forward, continuing to display high levels of performance wherever he is required. 

Scoring four goals in his last five games, Ndiaye has seemingly upped it a gear once more, and what an incredible time in the season to do it. 

Regardless of what division Sheffield United are playing their football in next season, the bright attacker is someone to keep an eye on. 

Daniel Jebbison 

Impressing on a loan spell with Burton Albion, 18-year-old Daniel Jebbison returned to Bramall Lane in January to bolster Heckingbottom’s options.
