KEITH JACKSON: Hearts have the stronger squad but Hibs are building momentum under Nick Montgomery. The Easter Road outfit look to be in a better place for the season ahead.

Were Rangers right to sack Michael Beale and where did it all go wrong for axed boss? Monday Jury

Keith Jackson: The reality is there was no way back for Beale after Saturday. He lost the fans and the dressing room. It was only going to end one way.

How big a blow do Celtic face after Joe Hart's red card and who will reach the Viaplay Cup semi-final? Monday Jury

Keith Jackson: Kilmarnock may spring a surprise by taking care of Hearts tomorrow, St Mirren can be confident of doing the same to Hibs. Ross County v Aberdeen is a toss of a coin job and Michael Beale will be out of a job if he loses at home to Livingston, which he won’t.

Can Brendan Rodgers better his Celtic record in Europe and who can Rangers turn to after Danilo's injury? Monday Jury

Keith Jackson: The draw has been kinder to Rodgers and Celtic this time around but that brings its own issues. Expectations should be managed because the new boss hasn't got his feet under the desk yet. A third placed finish would represent a decent return while he's getting his team in shape.

Should Rangers goal have been disallowed and are Celtic Champions League ready? Monday Jury

KEITH JACKSON: Absolutely. Referee Don Robertson was correct not to award the foul the first time around and should have stuck to his guns when asked by VAR to take another look. That was a mess entirely of Gustaf Lagerbielke’s own making.

Will Celtic or Rangers make significant transfers before window shuts and what should Michael Beale's PSV XI be? Monday Jury

DAVID McCARTHY:Celtic's need would appear to be greater as they have major defensive injury problems. I can see them bringing in a first team-ready centre back. Rangers will try to bring in a wide man but have plenty in the forward areas, even if they haven't impressed too much yet. ANDY NEWPORT:Michael Beale says he’s looking for someone in the Ryan Kent mould but those don’t come cheap so I suspect that kind of move will depend on Gers reaching the Champions League. Celtic are looking light defensively and I can see them bringing in extra cover, even if it’s only a loan. GORDON PARKS: Celtic will need to bring in some quality defensive cover and you can expect a few new faces but Rangers have already thrown the kitchen sink at their revamp but a natural right sided winger wouldn't go amiss. FRASER WILSON: Celtic must get another defender in but I’d also expect Brendan Rodgers to be on the lookout for another striker to add to Kyogo and Oh. Michael Beale has already said the one last thing he’s missing is a Ryan Kent type. Whether he can find his man at the right price is another matter.

Does Kieran Tierney need an Arsenal transfer exit and which club is desperate for new recruits? – Monday Jury

Keith Jackson: One look at the table tells an obvious story. St Johnstone have had a horrible start to the campaign and boss Steven MacLean needs all the help he can get before a drama becomes a full blown crisis. David McCarthy: Clearly, St Johnstone are in dire straits and need bodies in quickly. At the top, Celtic still haven't made a 'wow' signing and I'd expect something to happen there. And if Rangers are looking for a new Ryan Kent, why didn't they try to keep the old one?
