Host, Delta State, is preparing a contingent of about 1,000 athletes for the 21st National Sports Festival, which will begin in Asaba on November 28 and end on December 10. The number is the largest ever witnessed in the history of the Festival.

Sydney-based Nigeria professional boxer, Nestor Bolum, is back in the ring. The Delta State-born Bolum, who retired after his last fight in November 2019, will face homeboy, Luke Martin, in a six-round contest on November 12 at Ravesby Workers’ Club. The fight will hold at 2B Bret Street, Ravesby, NSW 2212.
Teams from within and outside are expected to converge on Lagos today to compete in the Lagos State Table Tennis League at the Eko Club, Surulere, Lagos.
