Yosuke Ideguchi in Celtic injury blow as luckless star career revival derailed by ankle break on first loan start

Celtic midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi has been dealt another major injury blow as he faces three months out of action after breaking his ankle.

The Japanese midfielder was shipped off on loan in January back to his homeland to sign a year-long loan with Avispa Fukuoka having failed to make a single appearance for Ange Postecoglou's side this term.

Ideguchi has been building up his fitness in the J-League with appearances off the bench as he looked to kickstart his career and kickstart his Celtic career when returns to the Scottish Premiership.

However, his loan side have revealed that the 26-year-old will be out for at least three months of the campaign having broken his ankle on his first start for the club.
