Real Sociedad star Martin Zubimendi has emerged as one of the latest targets for Manchester United. United are continuing to be linked with several potential new signings as Erik ten Hag looks to strengthen his squad.

Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro have already signed this summer and there looks likely to be further additions arriving at Old Trafford in the weeks to come.

Zubimendi is the latest player to be linked with United as Ineos Group target further signings with new sporting director Dan Ashworth.

Paris Saint-Germain's Manuel Ugarte and Benfica's Joao Neves have also been credited as targets for United. United do have an interest in Zubimendi as the club continue to assess potential midfield targets, with the 25-year-old reported to have a £53million release clause in his contract.
