Why Ridvan Yilmaz Rangers transfer exit is a no go as previous Beale message offers strong hint at Ibrox future

Reports from Turkey would have you believe that Ridvan Yilmaz is closing in on a loan away from Rangers this summer. But all signs suggest that, as things stand anyway, that couldn't be further from the truth.

The left-back has struggled for minutes behind Borna Barisic in the Ibrox pecking order since arriving from Besiktas while injuries and personal circumstances haven't helped matters either.

He's only managed eight appearances, and hadn't played since his 90-minute runout against Napoli before his substitute appearance against Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup earlier this month.

Reports in his homeland suggested Besiktas have agreed a loan to take him back but it's curious timing considering Beale is likely to need the 21-year-old now more than ever.
