It's fair to say the last Edinburgh derby did not end of good terms. Hearts secured a point on the final day of the least despite playing over an hour with ten men, which saw them finish above Hibs and claim fourth spot in the Premiership.
That saw them enter the Europa Conference League at the third qualifying round, with their rivals having to settle for a slot in the second, which will see them face either Vikingur or Inter Club D'Escaldes.
But the real action came after the final whistle. Lee Johnson aimed a dig at Steven Naismith's ribs after the pair shook hands, which did not go down well with the Hearts bench.
Both sets of staff, subs and unstripped players clashed on the touchline, while it spilled over onto the park as well. The noisy neighbourly dispute earned both capital clubs a citation from the Scottish FA and punishments were dished out on Thursday.
