Frank Warren has confirmed he will not stand in the way of a Daniel Dubois against Tyson Fury all-British superfight. Dubois retained his IBF heavyweight title in stunning fashion after he emphatically knocked out Joshua in the fifth round of their clash on Saturday night.
The 27-year-old immediately set his sights on a showdown with Oleksandr Usyk or Fury. The pair are set to fight on December 21 after the Ukrainian came out on top when they first met back in May.
And Warren, who promotes both Dubois and Fury, admits that while it would be an 'awkward situation' for him, he would not stand in the way if both fighters wanted to make the bout. I would struggle with that. “If they wanted it and the business called for it, then that’s up to them. It’s not something I would push for.
