West Ham are “very keen” on signing Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook. David Moyes is hoping to bring in defensive reinforcements following some injury concerns in his squad and the Ivory Coast international is one player on his radar.
Bailly hasn’t been involved in United’s opening two Premier League fixtures having failed to start a game in pre-season, which suggests that he isn’t in Erik Ten Hag’s thinking moving forward.
This comes after Bailly was generally overlooked for the majority of last season, making just seven appearances in all competitions, and started just three Premier League games.
Therefore, with the centre back seemingly up for sale, West Ham have approached the Red Devils about the £80,000 per-week ace’s services.
