Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes his side can still get better despite opening up a five point cushion to Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.

The Gunners cruised past Everton 4-0 on Wednesday night in their game in hand on Pep Guardiola's side and reaffirmed their title credentials.

And Arteta, while not being drawn on whether Arsenal are the title favourites having reached the 60 point barrier inside 25 games, said his players had the enthusiasm and drive to claim the Championship. "What I like is that everyone has the enthusiasm to do it and we are not going to stop that, we have to promote it.

And the way to promote it is to keep getting better," said Arteta.
