The duo won their semifinal heat earlier Friday, posting a time of one minute 55.34 seconds. Vincent, of Mississauga, Ont., previously won a bronze medal in the event with former partner Laurence Vincent Lapointe in Tokyo 2020, which was the first Olympics to include women's canoe events.
