Warren O'Hora hoping for Hibs redemption against Celtic as summer arrival makes 'eye-opener' admission

Warren O’Hora admits his crash course in Scottish football has been an eye-opener.

But the Hibs ace has warned the Easter Road men will need to look sharp when they square up with Celtic again this Sunday. The former MK Dons centre-half was in at the deep end against the champs at the weekend as Brendan Rodgers’ side in a first half that left the Leith outfit in a blur. O’Hora hopes the improved second-half display is something to hang on to as Hibs get set to do it again in the Premier Sports Cup at Parkhead. The 25-year-old said: “Has it been an eye-opener? Definitely. The speed, the physicality is definitely different and something that we have to get up to, and me personally, I have to get up to.

“That’s why I’ve come to this club and that’s why I’ve come to this league, because I want to play the best in this league, I want to play the best in this country, and I want this club to be up there with teams like that and that’s what we’re excelling to be.

O’Hora revealed Hibs boss David Gray delivered a few home truths at half-time against the Hoops and there can’t run scared of Celts this time. The Irish defender said: “Yeah, we said that half-time and and the gaffer was right. I think it was maybe a fear factor of who we were playing.

“Second half, you can see we start playing some nice passages of play and nice little touches and we get into good areas and you didn’t see that in the first half. That’s why we were so frustrated at half-time
