The Generals would pick up the 28-13 victory behind De’Andre Johnson and Darius Victor touchdowns. Johnson was 10-of-15 with 180 passing yards and two touchdowns.
He also had 98 yards on the ground on 10 carries with a score. Victor had a rushing and receiving touchdown. Josh Love and the hot Panthers offense were hit with their first loss of the season, scoring a season-low 13 points.
The quarterback was 15-of-31 with 101 passing yards and an interception. Carson Strong later came in and threw a touchdown pass to Trey Quinn.
