Rory McIlroy is determined to get his hands on another major title and said he “would go through 100 Sundays like this” to finish on top once more.

He was narrowly outdone to the US Open trophy by American Wyndham Clark who clinched his first major by one shot on Sunday. Ad McIlroy was in contention throughout the contest but a bogey on the 14th hole proved pivotal to the final outcome.
