Former Manchester United midfielder - and Academy coach - Tom Huddlestone has been appointed as the new first-team assistant coach at League One side Birmingham City.
The West Midlands club are co-owned by NFL legend Tom Brady who had invited United greats David Beckham and Gary Neville to St.
Andrew's on Monday night for the League One match between the Blues and Hollywood- owned Wrexham. Huddlestone joins the coaching staff with Birmingham after, previously, representing United as both a player and coach.
Huddlestone did not make a senior appearance for United as such, but helped the Academy players behind the scenes at Carrington before leaving in May this year as he called time on his career.
