Todd Cantwell has thanked Michael Beale for bringing him to Rangers and says the axed boss has his respect. The Londoner brought his fellow countryman to Glasgow in January after his final stint at Norwich City was plagued with a lack of game time and seemingly being frozen out of the team.
Cantwell has become a popular figure among the Ibrox support and was complimentary of the now sacked Gers boss when he first arrived alongside midfielder Nico Raskin.
But ultimately the decision has been made to axe the former Queens Park Rangers manager from his post. But the 25-year-old has posted a message of thanks to Beale, and says he has 'nothing but respect and appreciation' for Beale.
He posted to Instagram: "I want to thank you and your staff for bringing me to this brilliant football club. You allowed me to build my connection with the club and I will always be thankful for that.
