Three ways Erik ten Hag could unleash his Manchester United attack vs Nottingham Forest

A good performance will be just as important as a good result when Manchester United welcome Nottingham Forest to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Despite taking three points from their opening two Premier League outings this season, United have produced two uninspiring and disjointed performances.

They scraped past Wolves in their opening game of the new campaign, recording a 1-0 triumph, before being soundly beaten 2-0 by Tottenham Hotspur at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Saturday evening.

As well as lacking control in midfield in both fixtures, United also looked toothless and bereft of ideas in attack. Their only goal so far this season has been scored by a centre-back.
