Three people have been arrested after a huge police presence was reported on a Tameside street. Officers were called out to Byron Road, in Haughton Green, at around 4.30am on Monday (March 10).
Greater Manchester Police says it was called out following reports of a disturbance. Eyewitnesses reported seeing as many as 10 police cars attending the incident.
The vehicles were seen rushing through Haughton Green on their way to the scene. An ambulance was also seen in attendance by eyewitnesses. A spokesperson for GMP told the Manchester Evening News: "At around 4:30am yesterday (Monday, March 10), Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a disturbance at Byron Road, Tameside. "Officers attended and three people were arrested on suspicion of assault." North West Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
