Thomas Tuchel's verdict on Mason Mount could be bad news for Manchester United

Bayern Munich could well be set to scupper Manchester United's transfer plans amid reports they're planning to make a move for Mason Mount.

The German side look set to win the battle for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae, convincing the South Korean to move to the Bundesliga despite talks of a move to Old Trafford.

The Allianz Arena is now expected to be his destination once his release clause becomes active in July. Erik ten Hag's side are keen to wrap up a deal for Mount, with the 24-year-old ready to leave Chelsea with one year left on his contract.

Despite their weak negotiating stance, the London club are remaining steadfast in their valuation and have knocked back three bids.
