Brentford manager Thomas Frank has joked that Brentford would have to qualify for the Champions League to convince David Raya to stay at the club amid interest from Manchester United.

It is thought that United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on the Spanish shot-stopper, with Raya having turned down two fresh contract offers from the Bees.

While the London outfit are keen to retain the player, Frank believes that the 27-year-old would cost at least £40million. Raya has impressed in the Premier League since Brentford were promoted to the top flight.

The Spaniard has made 147 appearances for the Bees, recording 50 clean sheets. He was also part of Spain's World Cup squad in Qatar, but did not feature during the tournament.
