Rasmus Hojlund has certainly endeared himself to the Manchester United fanbase and it seems he can do no wrong away from Old Trafford either.
Hojlund has netted three times in eight United outings with all of his goals coming in the Champions League. The attacker had never competed in the main part of the competition before his arrival at United, albeit had taken part in the qualifying rounds in previous seasons.
The United attacker has come in as Erik ten Hag’s answer to his striker problem. The Dane arrived in a deal that could rise to £72m after it became clear top target Harry Kane would not be sold to a Premier League side. He is now back with his international teammates ahead of their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Kazakhstan and San Marino. Hojlund has six goals to his name in the competition so far and will hope to build on that now he is back up to full fitness.
