The UK’s best hidden waterfall is only 90 minutes from Greater Manchester

You can’t beat a good waterfall; there’s something about them which is simply mesmerising and the sound of cascading water can be incredibly soothing.

Now new research has revealed the best hidden waterfalls in the UK - and the top one is only a 90-minute drive from Greater Manchester.

Rhaeadr y Parc Mawr in North Wales was named the best hidden waterfall spot in the UK by Sally’s Cottages. They analysed TikTok data to find waterfall walks which have flown under the radar on social media.

Tucked away in Gwydir Forest, on the northern edge of Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, Rhaeadr y Parc Mawr - Grey Mare's Tails in English - consists of two beautiful waterfalls, both falling around 40ft into a shallow pool of water.
