House hunters who are in search of the cheapest areas to buy a home are in luck as there are several affordable places in Greater Manchester.

Our exclusive analysis of the latest Land Registry data has now revealed the 10 postcode areas across the region with the lowest house prices at the moment.

The average house price in Greater Manchester is currently £259,570, according to the latest data, however the average property price in these areas are all less than £190,000. Homes in the M38 postcode area sold for an average of £153,536 each in the last 12 months, compared to an average house price of £160,595 last year.
