Teenager rushed to hospital after stabbing in park

A teenager was seriously hurt in a stabbing at a park in Bury. Emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident at Nuttall Park in Ramsbottom at around 10.57pm on Saturday, July 8.

Police believe a group of young people had gathered in the park at the time of the attack. The teenage male was taken to hospital from the scene with serious injuries.

He has since been discharged, police said. Join our WhatsAp p Top Stories and Breaking News group by clicking this link. Officers have now released a description of a male 'who is believed to have information to assist lines of enquiries'.

He is described as a white male, who is of slim build and around 5ft 11in tall. He was wearing a dark North Face jacket. Police also want to speak to any witnesses, or anyone who has any mobile, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage.
