'Take moral responsibility' - Getafe slammed for decision to sign Man United's Mason Greenwood on loan

A Spanish domestic abuse charity has slammed Getafe's decision to take Mason Greenwood on loan and urged them to have 'moral responsibility'.

Greenwood completed his temporary move to Getafe on deadline day, having been told he would leave Manchester United following an internal investigation into allegations made against him in January 2022.

The club began it's own process after the Crown Prosecution Service dropped charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control in February.

United said in a statement on August 21 that they did not believe Greenwood committed the offences but felt it best he leave Old Trafford.
