Mason Greenwood has trained with the Getafe squad for the first time following his loan move from Manchester United. The forward completed his move to the Spanish La Liga outfit on transfer deadline day following United's announcement last month that he will be continuing his career away from the club.
It came following an internal investigation into the allegations made against him on social media in January 2022. United opened their own review into the events after the Crown Prosecution Service announced in February that charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive control had been dropped.
United confirmed on August 21 that they felt Greenwood didn’t commit the offences for which he was initially charged, but felt it was best if he rebuilt his career away from Old Trafford.
And after securing his move, Greenwood's new club and fans have now welcomed him to the Spanish outfit.
