Swansea road closed in both directions due to 'serious collision'

South Wales Police have confirmed that they have attended a scene of a "serious collision" this morning in the Swansea area.

The B4625 in both directions is closed this morning from the M4 J44 in Llansamlet to Gwernllwynchwyth Road.It is expected to remain closed for some time, the police force has said.

In a statement published on their Twitter page on Wednesday morning, a spokesperson for South Wales Police Road Policing Unit said: "We are at the scene of a serious collision at Gwernllwynchwyth Road, Llansamlet, B4625."The road is currently closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for some time.
